Four Oaks B-Ham League Champions Again

On Monday 5th August Four Oaks Tennis Club’s Men’s First Team defeated Edgbaston Priory to win the coveted B-Ham League Division One Title.
With previous wins in 2008/9/10  Four Oaks have impressively won the Division One title 4 times in the last 6 years .

Four Oaks’s Head Coach Warwickshire County  Player Arnie Benidor partnered Staffordshire County player James Henderson to wins  of 6/4,7/6 over Edgbaston Priory’s Bjorn Thomson /Lewis Barnes and 6/0,6/4 over Tom O’Loughlin and Peter Hodgson .Whilst Four Oaks’s Warwickshire County Player Jack Busby partnering Nathan Ensor won 6/3,6/4 against Tom O/Loughlin /Peter Hodgson but lost 5/7 ,0/6 in their  second match.

Coming  into this match, Captain Arnie Benidor’s team had dealt out six 4/0 wins  without  dropping a  set  against , Moseley, Edgbaston Archery,
 Streetly,   Penns Lane , West Warwicks and Knowle and Dorridge.

With one match left against year’s winners Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks are in an unassailable position of 27 points out of 28.

Warwickshire  County Player Harry Busby and Four Oaks’s assistant coach Derbyshire County Player  Dan Cottier were the other regular players for Four Oaks with Tony King playing in one of the matches.
